Specialist Shiloh Becher and Staff Sgt. Aaron Butler are undergoing three weeks of intensive training at Fort Hunter-
Liggett, California in order to prepare them to meet the other competitors for the title of Army Best Warrior. The Army competition starts September 28 at Fort Lee, Virginia.
The two, along with alternate competitors, were chosen in July by the Army Reserve after beating out 28 other competitors selected from throughout the service. While at Hunter-Liggett, the two will spend 50-70 hours a week to ensure they are fully prepared to compete against competitors who will hail from throughout the Active Army.
The first day of training included roll-over drills, SINCGARS training, and weapons instruction.
Check back here to follow thier training and of course, starting September 28th for full coverage of the Army Best Warrior Competition.
