  • Graduated Central Senior High School, 1999, Blasdale, NY.
  • Attending Campbell University, Buies Creek, NC and Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, NC

Personal: Married with two daughters

Military overview:

  • 8 yrs service
  • Joined immediately after 9/11
  • Deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan (2 times)
  • Responsibilities included the prevention of civilian casualties during military operations, collecting enemy propaganda and attempting to influence enemies of the U.S. and allies to cease activities.
  • “The most interesting thing about being in Afghanistan and Iraq is the friendships that are formed between Soldiers and the local nationals. When working with the locals it was extremely interesting to hear their points of view and how their society worked.”
  • One grandfather served in Army Air Corps, another grandfather served in the Korean War.
